Dr. Leslie Stone
Leslie P. Stone, MD, IFM-CP, is board-certified in family practice with a fellowship in surgical obstetrics. Empowering life in and out of the womb, Dr. Stone's passion is helping parents capture the miraculous during pregnancy by changing their habits and their lives. Since 1982, she has delivered nearly 5,000 babies. She practices medicine in Ashland, Oregon and is also the primary consultant for GrowBabyHealth.com, an individualized nutrition and lifestyle program promoting generational health. Dr. Stone is an international lecturer with her ongoing clinical research centering on aspects of the developmental programming of health and a functional medicine approach to pregnancy.
Her undergraduate degree from Washington State University in Physiological Psychiatry was followed by an MD from University of Washington Seattle, internship in OB/GYN at Oregon Health Sciences University, residency at UCLA in Family Medicine, Surgical Obstetric Fellowship at UCLA Ventura and further certification in Functional Medicine.
Dr. Janice Thompson
Janice E. Thompson, PhD is an independent consultant with deep expertise in dietary supplements, botanical medicines, medical foods, natural foods, and other natural products. She is devoted to applying the most up-to-date clinical research to develop natural products that make a difference in people’s lives. With over 25 years experience, Dr. Thompson has worked extensively in natural products chemistry, product formulation, clinical testing, regulatory compliance, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Dr. Thompson received a BS from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She earned a PhD from the University of California, San Diego and did her postdoctoral work at Stanford University and the Australian Institute of Marine Science.
